In the unsuspecting carpark directly underneath Lincoln Center, guests were led through the warmth of redwood trees which seemingly extended up towards infinity. In the first instance the parking garage has ever been used for a fashion show, the columns grew backlit trees, and huge video screens recounted dreams of slow-motion cavorting in Californian landscapes. Models perched upon podiums until they traded places with the next, all cleverly synchronized with four different films made for the unique presentation.
Navia worked to realize what designers Patrick Kinmonth and Antonio Monfreda envisioned, to launch the fresh line from Juicy Couture founders Pamela Skaist-Levy and Gela Nash-Taylor, self-proclaimed California Eccentrics.
